Dr. Hugh McCall
Dr. McCall completed a Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of Regina in 2024 and is currently applying to become a registered psychologist through the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia. He has worked in a wide range of settings, including several hospitals, community mental health clinics, private practices, and academic institutions. With a background in cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, Dr. McCall has experience assessing and treating a wide range of concerns, including mood and anxiety disorders, suicidality, psychotic disorders, chronic pain, and posttraumatic stress, among other concerns. Drawing on research, clinical experience, and his clients’ expertise on their own experiences and preferences, Dr. McCall tailors his treatment approach for every client, but his approach to therapy tends to be active, skills-focused, and goal-directed, and he ultimately strives to help all of his clients develop and sustain more effective ways of coping so they can overcome their psychological concerns and live more meaningful and satisfying lives.
Dr. McCall also has extensive experience conducting research on internet-delivered cognitive behavioural therapy (ICBT), with a particular emphasis on identifying strategies for designing more engaging and effective ICBT programs and tailoring ICBT specifically for first responders and other public safety personnel. Dr. McCall has published many peer-reviewed journal articles on these topics, has presented the results of his research across Canada and abroad, and continues to conduct research on a part-time basis.

Dr. Clare Carrigan
Dr. Carrigan earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Queen’s University Belfast in 2017 and she is a registered Clinical Psychologist in Northern Ireland. She is currently applying to become a registered Psychologist through the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC. She has worked in a range of clinical settings including community mental health clinics, hospital-based settings and multidisciplinary treatment teams, and she has expertise in supporting individuals with a range of psychological concerns including trauma-related disorders, anxiety and mood related conditions, long-term health conditions, and adjustment disorders. Alongside her work at West Coast Resiliency Centre, she also works at St Paul’s Hospital where she supports individuals who live with chronic health conditions. Her therapeutic style draws on her training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy and she is committed to delivering compassionate, person-centred care, grounded in evidence-based practice and guided by a non-judgemental approach.

Alexine Papp
Alexine is a Registered Clinical Counsellor in British Columbia with over a decade of experience working extensively with clients experiencing acute and chronic posttraumatic stress, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and health-related concerns.
Alexine is trained in a wide range of evidence-based and complementary therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, CBT, DBT, and integrative approaches tailored to each client.
Guided by compassion and curiosity, Alexine’s practice is client-focused, supportive, and non-judgmental. She is committed to creating a safe and collaborative therapeutic environment where individuals feel empowered to explore their challenges, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change.
